The young Christchurch promotions model determined to walk again after tragically losing her legs in the February earthquake is still coping with the ongoing complications related to her injuries.

In August, Stacey Herbert (24) told the New Zealand Woman’s Weekly about her miracle survival after being trapped for eight hours under a pile of concrete and steel in the Christchurch Press building

She later married her boyfriend Nick Herbert in the hospital chapel.

Since then, Stacey’s been in hospital for more surgery and needs to recover fully before she learns to walk with prosthetic limbs.
