Dreaming of stardom or parties

Dear Janet Louise,

oy mum awoke from a wonderful dream where she saw me on TV looking absolutely stunning. I was either
reading the news or I was a professional broadcaster.

odette, by email

Dear odette,

The overall theme of this dream is lovely. Your mum has something to get off her chest – she has a strong desire to express herself. Your mum is very proud of you and what you have achieved in your life – perhaps she has yet to tell you this? She is a lovely lady who often sells herself short and needs to allow others to help her and to let them appreciate her for who she is.

Lighten up

Dear Janet Louise,

In my dream I was at a barbecue and there was a table loaded with food. I had piled my paper plate with a bit of everything, including a large slab of meat and bread.

When I spotted a large bowl of shrimp, I started to load some onto my full plate and it collapsed into the shrimp bowl, disappearing below the shrimps and leaving me with a piece of soggy bread.

I plunged my hand into the bowl searching for my food, but it had disappeared. I felt embarrassed, so I walked away with my paper plate and a piece of soggy bread, feeling really dejected.

When looking for my wife, I came across a group of people on a netball court, rock ‘n’ roll dancing. I found my wife in a crowded stand – everyone in the stand was doing the jive in perfect unison – and it was there my dream ended.

Bert, by email

Dear Bert,

Wow, this dream is a great ride! Your personal and work lives are intertwining throughout this dream with a significant message. You have a lot on your plate and are not paying attention to your inspirational thoughts. It’s time to tap into these, because you want to strive for more. You feel strongly about being secure in all aspects of your life and the ability to provide for yourself and others is playing on your mind. You have a sense of feeling a little overpowered.

Pay attention to your physical self and listen to your intuition. Lighten up, laugh and relax – be happy cruising through life with ease. The overall theme of this dream is that you are being reminded of the positive qualities you have and all the amazing things you have learned so far on your journey through life.

Dream dictionary:

ocean
To see an ocean in your dream represents the renewal of your emotions and feelings. You are feeling positive, empowered and have a sunny outlook on life.

To dream of sailing across the sea signifies independence and courage. To dream of the ocean being rough and stormy symbolises passion, and dreaming of calm waters represents peace and tranquillity. Dreaming of a big
wave can mean you are feeling overwhelmed or challenged.
