Wool yarn such as Big Wool from Rowan—100% merino wool; approx. 87yds (80m) per 3½oz (100g) ball

Eternal—approx. 1lb 5oz (600g)/522yds (480m)

Needles

Pair of US 19 (15mm) knitting needles

Other materials

• Tapestry needle

Gauge (tension)

7.5 sts and 9 rows to 4in (10cm) over patt using US 19 (15mm) needles

Cast on 66 sts.

Row 1 and every alt row: Purl.
