Dreaming of sailing on a yacht

Dear Janet Louise,
I had a dream I was out dancing in a nightclub with girlfriends and was chatting to a very nice guy. We were getting on quite well and next thing we were wearing matching outfits of white linen and sailing on a yacht. I remember we were drinking champagne and laughing, and then all of a sudden he was dead. There was blood everywhere and I was holding a knife. I woke up feeling petrified and totally freaked out. I have no idea what this means and would like to know if you can help?

Dear Lisa,
Your dream has two different meanings that run parallel to each other. To begin your dream having such a wonderful time dancing and sailing represents happiness, freedom and sensuality in your life. Even strong sexual desires that you have kept a lid on are asking for a bit of attention. You are free from restrictions and looking at life with a new sense of awareness. You seem in total control. But on the flip side, there seems to be this overwhelming sense of fear.

You are afraid you will lose all you have gained. Your life is spiralling and you are feeling somewhat out of balance. You are desperate to be heard. Recent disappointments have left you feeling despondent, with material losses to boot. Take a look at what is causing aggression in your waking life and ask for help if you feel you’re prepared to listen to the advice. All these things should help you regain confidence, spark and balance and enjoy life.
