Dreaming of protecting children

Dear Janet Louise,
I have the same recurring dream where I have James Bond-like abilities. I am always protecting a child and am usually successful until the end when another child needs to be saved. I have to choose between them, which is when I wake up. Would appreciate any insight you can give me.
