Film review: Safe Haven

Rated M.
Romance writer Nicholas Sparks has pulled out all the lovey-dovey stops in his latest film adaption.
The story centres on a girl who flees her dark past in the city and moves to a small town, where she falls for a handsome local.
Although it’s nowhere near the league of The Notebook and feels a bit confused – trying to be an action movie and romance – Mr Fergie, Josh Duhamel, is enough to melt even a cynic’s heart and is worth a look for the softies.
