Rihanna: Unapologetic

True to its title Rihanna’s latest album makes no apologies, namely about Rihanna’s on-again off-again romance with her convicted abuser Chris Brown, who’s the subject of several songs. In Nobody’s Business – a duet between Rihanna and Chris with a Michael Jackson-style beat – the pair sings about their “love perfection”, which is unsettling to say the least. Controversy aside, there are nuggets of gold here – particularly the sparkly pop hit Diamonds and the hip-hop track Fresh off the Runway – that are sure to keep the Barbadian beauty at the top of the charts.
