Easily dismissed as an R-rated comedy, there lies a beating heart behind the muscle-bound frat boys and exuberant parties.
When new parents Mac and Kathy (Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne) find themselves living next door to a fraternity, they plot revenge on the rowdy neighbours, only to realise it’s themselves they need to come to terms with.
Best described as a “coming-of-age comedy for thirty-somethings”, the film touches upon issues of growing up, with a thick layer of sex jokes, wild antics and nudity.
