FILM REVIEW: 22 Jump Street

Brawn and brains re-team for this sequel to 21 Jump Street.
22 Jump Street

Rating R13

Brawn and brains re-team for this sequel to the 2012 comedy reboot of the hit ‘80s TV show. Self-aware, yet self-assured, directors/writers Chris Miller and Phil Lord (The Lego Movie) waste no time making light of the fact film franchises never do very well, constantly sending up the concept of the sequel to great success. But it’s the budding bromance between Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill that, once again, make this a hilarious caper of mishaps and misunderstandings. The R-rated content is moderate, but never detracts from the core laughs.
