Alex Cross

Rated M.
There’s no reason why adapting the James Patterson book character Alex Cross for the big screen might be difficult – but the latest film about the gifted police psychologist disappoints in a spectacular fashion. With one of the year’s worst scripts, this clunky film sees Alex trying to catch a killer called Picasso. Writer/ director/actor Tyler Perry is out of his depth in the lead role, and while Matthew Fox has found his way since Lost, playing the killer, this film isn’t going anywhere.
