After causing an uproar with their combined tirade against contestant Joe Irvine, former X Factor NZ judges Natalia Kills and Willy Moon have now left the country.

The husband and wife duo were seen being escorted through Auckland International Airport last night, and they are said to have caught a flight back to Los Angeles.

They didn’t have anything to say to the waiting reporters and have yet to make any official statements on the incident, although Natalia did post a tweet on Sunday seemingly aimed at her remaining fans.

“I love you guys, thanks for your support & understanding my passionate opinions! You know what they say about me…” she wrote, adding in the video to her song ‘Problem’.

Meanwhile, Stan Walker has revealed Natalia got exactly what she wanted with the controversy.

“She achieved what she wanted to. The world knows her name now,” he told Stuff.co.nz.

Two new judges for the X Factor will be announced soon, with some speculating that Shelton Woolright of rock band I Am Giant could be filling up one of the chairs.
