The former weekday weather presenter began her career at Newshub as a political reporter in Wellington 13 years ago. over the years, she has worked as a senior reporter for the 6pm bulletin, presenter on Nightline and news anchor on Sunrise. She took over as Paul Henry newsreader after Hilary Barry left the network.

Alex O’Hara will continue as the weekend weather presenter, with Mike Puru staying on as a back-up presenter.
