Homemade recipe: Magic night cream

This uses apple cider vinegar, which has a great reputation for curing everything that ails you. It’s a really simple recipe which combines the complexion-enhancing features of apple cider vinegar with the nourishment of olive oil. Results will vary depending on what oil you use, so you may get a yellow lotion or a white one. Either way they both work beautifully.

  • ½ cup olive oil (extra virgin if possible)
  • 3 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 3 drops lavender essential oil (optional)

1.Mix olive oil with apple cider vinegar. Add water slowly, mixing all the while, until a smooth lotion forms. If you don’t want to smell like a salad dressing, add the lavender oil. You will also need to shake it each night before applying, as it settles.
