How to keep avocados from turning brown

I often don’t finish avocados because they often look very unappealing once that brown skin appears. Is there any way of preventing this or should I just slice it off each time I use it?

I don’t have especially good news for you on this one I’m afraid. You could try brushing the surface of the exposed avo with lemon juice before storing, but this really only works for a few hours so your best bet is to try to eat the avocado in one sitting – or share it with a friend, colleague or family member!
