Cooking goat meat

I go to a halal supermarket and often see goat in the meat section. What sort of flavour does it have?
The flavour will surprise you. Some people find it too strong but I think it’s great. The best way to get started is to use it in place of lamb in Indian-style curries or in North African recipes, made in your tagine. Cook very slowly on a relatively low heat. This way it will be tender and won’t taste as strong.
