This spread makes the ultimate Hawaiian sandwich. Spread on fresh bread cut with a cookie cutter – ideal for little hands.

  • 250g cream cheese, softened (don’t use spreadable cream cheese as it won’t hold up)
  • 227g crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup cheese, grated

1 Blend all ingredients in a food processor or mash with a fork. Store covered for up to a week.

* Sandwich with shaved smokey ham or sliced cucumber, or add thinly sliced salami for a pizza-flavoured sandwich!
