If you prefer a liquid breakfast or something you can have on the go, a shake or smoothie is just the ticket.
I have added the goodness of cereals and sweetened mine with malt extract – yes, just like you used to have off the spoon when you were little!
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 Weet-Bix or wheat biscuit, crumbled
- 1 ripe banana or ½ cup fresh or frozen berries
- 1-2 tbsp malt extract (ie Maltexo)
1 Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Add a few ice cubes, if desired, and blend until smooth and frothy. Serve in glasses.
