Like it or not, beige is back. There are many myths around this shade and it was once thought of as a colour that only flattered fair-skinned blondes. The good news is anyone can wear it – the darker your completion, the deeper the shade should be, gradually moving towards terracotta. Don’t be bland – team it with this season’s bold bright colours such as red, emerald green and turquoise.
Tone test
When testing beige hues against your skin tone, make sure you hold it up to your face in natural light. If it washes you out, go for a darker shade.
