Auckland’s Victoria Porter-Andrews (42) is sales and marketing manager at natural skincare company Nellie Tier.
My beauty philosophy is… A mix of good skincare, healthy food and lots of exercise. Power walking with my Schnau-Tzu, Jack, is an all-time favourite.
The skincare products I can’t live without are…Nellie Tier Face Polish and Hydrating Mask. Both can be incorporated into any beauty regime, alongside other products. I also have tubes of Lucas’ Papaw Ointment everywhere.
My haircare secret is… I’m slightly afraid to admit it, but my hair is washed daily with Phoebe & Fitz natural dog wash with red clover and kowhai. I follow this with Macadamia Natural Oil. There are a lot of hair oils on the market now, but I find their luxurious oil sprays leave my very thick locks shiny, soft and manageable.
The must-have products in my make-up bag are… It’s all about the eyes! Revlon Colorstay Eyebrow Liner to really define the brows and MAC False Lashes Mascara – this never smudges and washes off easily at the end of the day.
My favourite beauty treat is… A really good manicure and pedicure. With a young family, I struggle to take time out. An hour or so indulging myself at the beauty salon is bliss.
My biggest beauty sin is… Too much good food and wine most weekends.
The best thing my mother taught me about beauty was… Keep out of the sun.
