My beauty philosophy is… Less is more. I think it’s important to feel comfortable. For me, that means being natural, but also not being afraid to be sexy when the time is right.
The skincare product I can’t live without is… Kio Kio BodyCream (rain forest& koromiko). It’s my must-have moisturiser – not too overpowering, and always leaves my skin feeling perfect.
My haircare secret is…I try to give my hair a break from all the heat treatments, colouring and stress. Also, I only wash it once or twice a week. Dry shampoo in-between is my secret weapon to freshen up.
The must-have products in my make-up bag are… MAC Mineralize Skinfinish NaturalPowder. I like to let my skin breathe, so this powder is all I use over a touch of concealer. Eye Öf HÖrus Mascara is the best lengthening and separating mascara around, and works perfectly with the MAC Fluidline gel eyeliner I use every day. And my Karen MurrellCoral Dawn lippy is such a beautiful colour to brighten up my look.
My favourite beauty treat is…Taking a long bath on a cold winter’s night, then applying some THE Aroma Room relax Body Oil and curling up in my robe with a book. It’s a great way to put your mind and soul at ease after a long and hectic day.
My biggest beauty sin is… Underestimating how much I use my hands, from doing dishes to gardening. I’ve finally got into the habit of using hand cream. I love the Therapy Range Hand Cream with cocoa, vanilla and cassiA. It smells just divine.
The best thing my mother taught me about beauty was…Patience, and to always look your age.
