My Beauty Secrets: Lee-Anne Wann

Lee-Anne Wann (39) is an Auckland health and fitness expert and nutritionist to the Vodafone Warriors.

My beauty philosophy is…

The same as my health and fitness philosophy – keep it simple and real. Achieve 90% result for 10% effort by focusing on the basics.

The skincare products I can’t live without are…

I’m addicted to Ecostore Lip Balm and Ecostore Body Butter. I use Blue Coconut Oil as a make-up remover, mouthwash and anti-wrinkle treatment. What goes next to my skin is crucial and I love Ecostore’s new Geranium & Orange Laundry range.

My haircare secret is…

Blue Coconut Oil as an overnight hair-conditioning treatment. And hair stylist Tennille from Newmarket salon Dry & Tea – I go from gym scruff to camera-ready in 20 minutes.

The must-have products in my make-up bag are…

Light pink lip gloss, Diorskin Nude Foundation, Thin Lizzy 6-in-1 Professional Powder and Revlon Lash Potion Mascara and I’m good to go all day.

My favourite beauty treat is…

Going to a Forme Spa and having a facial or skincare treatment.

My biggest beauty sin is…

Leaving my fingernails at the mercy of my training and gym regimen. They get treated harshly and I know I need to take better care of them.

The best thing my mother taught me about beauty was…

To always put cream on my décolletage to minimise wrinkles. Also, by watching my mother, there is nothing more beautiful than a woman genuinely happy, with a real smile on her face.
