A lovely organic aloe vera spritzer I purchased at the markets in Noosa a few years ago. I spray it on my face straight after a shower and let it soak in.
Then I use Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream Moisturiser (1).
I love washing my face and getting a good lather, so I spoil myself with La Prairie Foam Cleanser (2) – it’s expensive, but lasts for about six months.
MY HAIRCARE SECRET IS…
I wash my hair every day as it’s really fine and becomes flat.
I use an organic shampoo and conditioner from Angel En Provence. I also apply nTrance Argan Oil to my hair before I comb it out after a shower. It’s not heavy at all and helps stop split ends.
THE MUST-HAVE PRODUCTS IN MY MAKE-UP BAG ARE…
I love Clinique Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss,
Revlon Mascara, Lancôme Artliner,
MAC Cremestick Liner,
Mineralize Skinfinish Powder and Bronzing Powder.
My daytime foundation is really a light-tinted BB cream followed by the Mineralize Powder. For evenings, I use MAC Studio Fix Fluid liquid foundation along with the same MAC Mineralize Powder. I go by the rule less is more.
MY FAVOURITE BEAUTY TREAT IS…
I frequently get my fingernails and toenails professionally manicured. It’s much cheaper now with all the many salons around the city. Shellac polish on the toes lasts for ages.
MY BIGGEST BEAUTY SIN…
I’m obsessed with catching stray hairs. I carry tweezers everywhere I go – in my handbag, car, husband’s car, etc. I hate finding a mirror and that perfect light, only to discover you have long witchy-poo hairs sticking out of your chin and you can’t get them! So I come prepared.
THE BEST THING MY MOTHER TAUGHT WAS…
Keep your face and body clean. I played a lot of sport and there was always a fresh facecloth in the bathroom – something that I’m now trying to pass on to my teenage sons. Good luck with that one I hear you say!
