My beauty philosophy is… I believe in using natural extracts of plants, herbs and fruits, and keeping your chemical load as low as possible.
The skincare products I can’t live without are… Skin Deep is a New Zealand range based on Manuka honey, and the Soft Lips conditioner is really beautiful and wonderfully healing. I take it everywhere with me – it even goes on under my lipstick.
My best beauty secret is… A monthly massage is essential. I’m also never without my Priori Coffeeberry Day Complex moisturiser. I don’t skimp on good skincare – it’s worth every cent.
My haircare secret is… Argania Hair OiL. I use this once a week as a treatment for my coloured hair. It leaves it silky, smooth and shining.
The must-have products in my make-up bag are…Priori Perfecting
Minerals Foundation SPF15 provides a glowing natural cover and protects my skin. I also use True Solutions Total Age Protector sunblock, which goes on over my moisturiser and under my foundation. Paying attention to my face, neck and décolletage is a must with my outdoor Kiwi lifestyle.
My favourite beauty treat is… A Priori Coffeeberry Yoga FaciaL, using the fruit found on coffee bushes. They noticed the pickers’ hands were beautifully smooth and discovered this fruit was wonderfully anti-ageing and good for pigmentation.
My biggest beauty sin is… I need to create more time for indulging in regular soaks in Rotorua’s therapeutic waters and a monthly mud wrap.
The best thing my mother taught me about beauty was… She introduced me to her beauty therapist, where I discovered important services such as waxing, lash and brow tinting. My mother’s favourite was a manicure/pedicure. Regular maintenance makes you feel good about yourself.
