Beauty buzz: Blue eyeshadow

In the shade

Blue eyeshadow is back, but thankfully without its original disco diva look. Use it as an eyeliner or apply from the centre to the outer corner of the lids, and blend well with a more neutral shade (taupes and silvers work well). Start light, then build up.

cream gel shadow INELECTRIC BLUE $13.99 – a bold navy that can be blended down to a teal using lighter shades.

• MAC EYESHADOW IN HEROINE $38 – a bright matte cobalt blue.

• INIKA MINERAL EYESHADOW IN CORNFLOWER $28.99 – a loose powder for a sheer or an intense finish.
