Is he the one?

Dear Wendyl,

Some friends recently set me up with a guy by inviting us both to a party. It was a bit awkward, as we both knew we were being set up, but I knew the minute I saw him that he was the one I’ve been looking for. We got on really well, but since that night he hasn’t followed up – even though I gave him all my contact details. I sent him a text the other night, but have had nothing back. How can I get him to see me again? I can’t believe how perfect he is for me.

I’m sorry but you need to face the facts. He’s not going to call you or text you – because he doesn’t want to go out with you. Also, I think you may be getting ahead of yourself. How can you tell he’s the perfect man for you after one night of conversation?

I think you need to step back and look at what you’re doing. one of the ways you will know you have met the right man is that he will text you back and show a bit of interest – so look out for that sign. Keep smiling, keep looking and good luck.
