Jane (Meryl Streep) is a mother of three, owns a thriving Santa Barbara restaurant and has an amicable relationship with ex-husband Jake (Alec Baldwin). But when Jane and Jake find themselves out of town for their son’s graduation, things start to get complicated. With Jake remarried to the much younger Agness, Jane now finds herself as the other woman. Caught in the middle of their renewed romance is Jane’s architect Adam (Steve Martin) who starts to fall for her. Should Jane and Jake move on with their lives, or is love truly lovelier the second time around? It’s…complicated.
