Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Louis Walsh are locked in an ongoing war of words after the popstar slammed claims the two had reconciled.

After Louis called Cheryl “lazy” and “irrelevant” in an  earlier interview, she retaliated on Twitter last week, accusing Louis of having an obsession with her. Now their feud has heated up once again, as Cheryl has made it clear the two haven’t made up at all – despite Louis claiming there was “no nastiness” between them anymore.

“I got a text from Cheryl, but we haven’t really fallen out – she was just saying funny things,” he told The Mirror.

Cheryl posted a screenshot of his comments on her Instagram page yesterday with a caption accusing Louis of backpedalling “until out of sight”.

“Ps) I would not have found the text messages I sent to be “funny” but ok!! Toodles,” she wrote in a post that has since been deleted from her Instagram page – although the evidence is still up on her Twitter.

The duo’s feud goes right back to the days of Girls Aloud, when Louis was the girl band’s manager – and recently, Simon Cowell revealed the two have always been like “Tom and Jerry”.

Earlier today, Cheryl posted another Instagram picture seemingly directed at Louis.
