The Weekly is well known as the number one royal magazine in New Zealand, and a lot of this has to do with the excellent relationships our journalists have with the Palace.
When the mail was delivered this morning, deputy editor Catherine Milford, was quick to spot a card from Buckingham Palace addressed to one of our top royal journalists, Donna Fleming.
We all gathered around Donna’s desk, buzzing about what could be inside, and were thrilled to see that she had received a Christmas card from the office of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.

During their recent New Zealand visit, Donna was busy following the royal couple around and writing for the Weekly, and it seems they must have liked what they read, as she’s now on their Christmas card list.
Certainly cause for buzz in our office!
