Hit singer Mariah Carey has just received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. While the event was supposed to celebrate the gorgeous diva, she found herself having to share the spotlight with her four-year-old twins.
Moroccan and Monroe Cannon couldn’t keep their hands off their gorgeous mother as she was honoured at the ceremony. The pair even took over the microphone during Mariah’s acceptance speech to announce their love for their mum to the adoring crowd.
“I better get through with this before the kids want to come up and talk again!” Mariah joked afterward the twins spoke. “Thank you so much, really, everybody for being here … I just want to thank all the fans for coming. This is a huge honour. A childhood dream come true … Before these kids take me off the stage, I guess I should move along. Thank you so much.”
Moroccan draped himself over his mum as she posed for photos beside her new star. He didn’t seem too concerned about all the fuss that was being made for his mum!
Despite the intrusion, Mariah was happy to share the spotlight with her kids. “For them to be here was everything. I’m so humbled and grateful.”
