Kate Middleton: My Fair Lady (VIDEO)

From commoner to future Queen, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has captured the hearts of millions around the world and now, a video released of Kate at age of 11 foreshadows her life.

In a school production of My Fair Lady, Kate plays Eliza Doolittle, a flower girl taught to pass herself off as a duchess. In one scene, Kate goes through the essential elocution lesson of how to say: “The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain.”

She responds with “The rine in spine sties minely in the pline,” to much audience laughter.

Her co-star in the production was Andrew Alexander – party boy aristocrat Sir John Bullock in the popular TV series Downton Abbey.

After leaving the £15,000-a-year exclusive St Andrew’s School, the duchess went to Marlborough College and then St Andrews University where she met Prince William.
