Zara Phillips

The first name Princess Anne chose for Zara Anne Elizabeth, born May 15, 1981, came as a huge surprise. Allegedly, it was Prince Charles who suggested Zara – her arrival was sudden but happy and her uncle thought the name would be appropriate because it means “bright as the dawn” in Greek.

Prince William

The birth of William Arthur Philip Louis on June 21, 1982, was greeted with great excitement. His mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, had to be induced, and was in labour for 16 hours. Lady Louise

The Earl and Countess of Wessex’s first child had the most dramatic birth of any royal baby in recent times. Louise Alice Elizabeth Mary was born prematurely on November 8, 2003, and her mother Sophie needed an emergency Caesarean after suffering complications that caused severe blood loss to both mum and baby.
