A big congratulations to Saturday Breakfast presenter Toni Street who gave birth to a baby girl this morning. Toni and her husband Matt France have named their girl, who weighed 3.6kg (8lb 2oz), Juliette Ellen France. Matt texted the Breakfast team this morning to say both mother and baby are doing well, although he is “still recovering”.
Toni was one week overdue. “Just had a curry, after sipping on raspberry leaf tea most of the day and a brisk walk. #stillwaiting,” she tweeted on Monday. Matt were married in 2009 and the baby is their first child together. When Toni left Breakfast to go on maternity leave in August, her colleagues threw her a big party and made her a special birthday card.
