Selena Gomez’s on-again, off-again relationship with Justin Bieber is causing a rift with her friend Taylor Swift. The I Knew You Were Trouble singer has been telling Selenathat she can do better than Justin, whose behavior has become increasingly erratic.
“Taylor hates him. She thinks Selena makes a mistake every time she reconciles with him,” a source told Us Weekly. “Bieber has really come between the girls.”
Taylor was caught on camera pulling a face when Selena and Justin kissed at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this year and when Taylor was asked by reporters about Justin she declined to comment. “Can we have another question?” she told the press.
Taylor wasn’t by Selena’s side to celebrate her 21st birthday on July 22, but a few days earlier Taylor tweeted that the Come and Get It singer was “the closest thing I’ve had to a sister”. Friends say that despite their disagreement over Justin, the pop princesses talk on the phone nearly every day.
