‘Celebrity Apprentice’ winner and former newspaper editor Piers Morgan has announced his engagement to gossip columnist Celia Walden. Piers really pulled out the big guns by popping the question in Paris, where the couple was holidaying for Celia’s 33rd birthday.
Piers revealed the happy news in a post on his website. It reads, “Piers has taken the plunge and proposed to his girlfriend of four years Celia Walden – and she said yes! The happy event took place last week in that most romantic of cities – Paris, where the couple were celebrating Celia’s birthday.
Piers first fell for his future fiancé when he interviewed her for a men’s magazine. He described her in the article as ‘ridiculously beautiful’ and added: ‘She is the new [Brigitte] Bardot.'” Piers has three sons with ex-wife oarion Shalloe.
