Luciano Pavarotti’s wife has hit out at reports he’s close to death, declaring he’s “fighting like a lion”. Rumors have been circulating since his daughter spoke out saying that her father hasn’t got long to live. Luciano is battling pancreatic cancer and is largely wheelchair-bound, however, his wife insists he is battling the illness courageously: “He’s never lost his heart, also because a family he adores is by his side. He’s determined and results are encouraging.”
