Paris Hilton burgled for seventh time

Heiress Paris Hilton has been robbed for the seventh time. The socialite’s Malibu home was targeted by a band of female guests last weekend. The thieves stole bikinis, purses and pictures from her bedroom while the 32-year-old partied with guests.

“I have bad luck when it comes to thieves,” Paris tweeted on Sunday. “They tried to steal my new collection of Paris Hilton purses from my Malibu house.””

Paris’ high-profile home has been robbed six times in the past – similar break-ins at her Hollywood Hills mansion inspired Sofia Coppola’s film The Bling Ring.

The film starring Emma Watson, which recently screened in the New Zealand International Film Festival, follows a group of teenagers allegedly stole $3.2 million worth of the reality star’s jewellery and several designer outfits between 2008 to 2009. It was filmed in parts in Paris’ own home, showing the thieves breaking into her home using a key hidden under the door mat.
