Revenge is sweet for Kris Humphries, who, according to reports, is planning to auction off the engagement ring he gave to ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
A 16-carat Lorraine Schwartz ring matching the description of Kim’s ring has been handed in to Christie’s auction house and is expected to sell for between $400,000 and $600,000.
Christie’s declined to reveal whether the NBA star is the seller, saying only that “a gentleman” was behind the listing.
But Kris, who discovered Kim had filed divorce papers after 72 days of marriage through the media, won’t be laughing all the way to the bank – the NBA star might be left out of pocket since the estimated sale price is less than a quarter of the original cost of the ring.
