Her marriage only lasted 72 days but after a year and a half, Kim Kardashian’s divorce from Kris Humphries is now finalised.
A judgment was entered on Monday night in a Los Angeles court to put an end to their marriage, People magazine reports. No details from the divorce have been revealed, but Kim and Kris allegedly had a prenuptial agreement in place and basketball player Kris is unlikely to have received any of Kim’s $50 million fortune.
The couple were scheduled to appear in court on May 6, but reached a last minute settlement in what may have been a move to avoid a lengthy trial.
Kris had been seeking an annulment of the marriage on the grounds that he believed Kim had committed fraud, marrying him only for her TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Kim wore three Vera Wang gowns for her televised wedding to Kris, which earned the couple an estimated $22 million from magazine.
