Jessica Simpson plans to call second baby Ace

Jessica Simpson plans to call second baby Ace

Pregnant singer Jessica Simpson is considering another unconventional name for her second child.

Sources say the 32-year-old – who named her nine-month-old daughter Maxwell – is considering the name Ace for her baby, who she recently revealed is a boy.

“[She's] told people she’s going to name the baby Ace!” the source told Us Weekly magazine.

Jessica has yet to announce how she and fiancé Eric Johnson (33) decided upon the name, but it’s likely to have some personal significance.

Last year, she said that Maxwell’s name was a tribute to both her family and Eric’s – Maxwell is the NFL player’s middle name as well as his grandmother’s surname. Her middle name Drew is the maiden name of Jessica’s mum, Tina.
