Hugh Jackman has revealed that he had a skin cancer scare.

The Australian actor shared on Twitter that his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, encouraged him to get the mark on his nose checked, which turned out to be a basal cell carcinoma cancer.

“Deb said to get the mark on my nose checked. Boy, was she right! I had basil cell carcinoma,” Hugh (45) tweeted.

“Please don’t be foolish like me. Get yourself checked. And USE sunscreen!!!” the star added, posting a photo of himself with a bandage on his nose.

The star has been very active on social media over the past week and also posted a video of himself learning a tap dancing routine.
