Nashville star Hayden Panettiere finally confirmed she is indeed engaged to boxer Wladimir Klitschko on the US talk show Kelly & Michael.
Claims the star was engaged first emerged in March when Hayden and the 37-year-old Olympic boxing champion reunited after splitting in 2011. The Heroes actress (24) has stayed tight-lipped about her relationship until host Kelly Ripa brought up her engagement ring.
“I’m sort of distracted, not just by the snake, but there’s a very large diamond ring on your finger,” said Kelly. “I’m not sure if you want to announce anything… does that signify anything, is that a promise of something?”
“I mean, I think it speaks for itself,” replied Hayden coyly, before she finally relented. “I am,” she said.
The couple have not set a date yet.
