More details are emerging about Danny DeVito’s shock split from his wife of 30 years, Rhea Perlman.
A film insider has revealed to Radar Online that Danny had a reputation in Hollywood for being a ladies man and was reportedly having an affair with a young extra on the set of the movie Hoffa in the 1990s.
“She was young and beautiful and obviously just having sex with him in hopes that he’d make her a star,” says a film insider, who adds that, “Danny would have his limo driver drive them all over the city and they’d canoodle in the back before going back to his room together.”

Rhea – who has three children with Danny, Lucy, Grace and Jacob – is said to have known about Danny’s wandering eye for 10 years before she called it quits last week.
Danny’s reps deny the cheating claims, saying they are a complete “fabrication”, and some film insiders have jumped to Danny’s defense.
“They are very loving towards their children and at one time were a really solid family,” says a source.
