Charlie Sheen wants to mentor Lindsay Lohan

Charlie Sheen may have had his own problems, but the Anger Management star still thinks he can give troubled actress Lindsay Lohan advice.

“I have a kinship with somebody [Lindsay] who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not,” Charlie (47) told entertainment website TMZ.

“She can continue to hang out with her dress shredding club buddies, or turn to me for some advice from a guy who’s been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey,” said Charlie, referring to the $2000 designer gown that Lindsay (26) recently returned in tatters to a stylist after a night out.

Charlie, who recently starred alongside Lindsay in Scary Movie 5, gifted Lindsay $120,000 to help the actress pay her back taxes. Although she didn’t thank him for the money for several weeks, Charlie wasn’t deterred from helping the Mean Girls star.

“If she listens, she’ll win… if she doesn’t, that’s on her,” he says.

Lindsay is currently facing criminal charges for allegedly lying to police about a car accident, claiming she was not behind the wheel. A Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge has set a trial date for March 18.
