The restaurant in Essex received a phone order from “Beyoncé K” for 58 wing platters, 48 whole chickens, 12 veggie burgers, 24 coleslaws and 24 rice dishes – totaling $2836 for the star and her entourage after performing at the V Festival in Hylands Park. The staff at a UK branch of fast food restaurant Nando’s were rushed off their feet last week when they had a special order from pop star Beyoncé.
The chicken restaurant is clearly the favourite of the Run the World (Girls) singer and her crew – she spent $1500 at a Dublin branch earlier this year.
It’s been a busy few weeks for the star, who recently sat down with nine-year-old Robby Novak, the self-proclaimed Kid President of the US, to talk about World Humanitarian Day.
In the adorable video, the little boy put the singer to the test asking her what was important about World Humanitarian Day.
“It’s admirable the people that dedicate their lives to other people. And I think it’s so important for us to take the time and be unselfish and have compassion and impact the world,” replied Beyoncé. Robby then asked her “Are we best friends?” to which she replied “Only if I get a kiss on the cheek.”
