After announcing last week that she has had a double mastectomy, Angelina Jolie’s next project is very close to her heart – the actress will play her own mother, Marcheline Bertrand, in a biopic about the late actresses’ life.
Angelina, who last week revealed she had a double mastectomy, will star in the film about her mother’s life which will be produced by Plan B, the production company set up by her fiancé Brad Pitt. Angelina was by her mother’s side in 2007 when she passed away from ovarian cancer.
“I will never be as good a mother as she was. I will try my best, but I don’t think I could ever be. She was . . . she was just grace incarnate. She’s better than me,” she said in an interview in 60 Minutes in 2011.
