The Duchess of York has recently appeared on US shopping channel QVC, promoting a blender.

The mother-of-two has struggled with her weight in the past, earning her the unfortunate nickname ‘Duchess of Pork’. In the segment, she credits the blender with being one of the reasons behind her dramatic 25 kg weight loss and helping her keep it off over the past two years.

Fergie credits the Fusion Xcelerator blender with taking her from flab to fab.

“There are so many people out there who are struggling. I was struggling…I was 192 pounds. I had let myself go,” she says in the advertorial. “You blow up and then it’s a vicious circle. Then you lose confidence, then you eat to compensate.”

Fergie shared some before and after pictures in the segment to highlight her dramatic weightloss.

“It’s not about whether you go to the gym or whether you have a chef. No. I did all of this through my new boyfriend, which is this amazing [blender].”

“When I hit 55, I’d lost 55 pounds,” Fergie says in the ad.

The 55-year-old has been accused of exploiting her royal status in the past, most famously when she offered access to her former husband Prince Andrew for cash. Her latest venture, endorsing the NZ$91 blender, may see her field more such criticism. She is set to appear on QVC again in the future.
