Duchess of Cambridge gives birth to a girl!

The Duchess of Cambridge has just given birth to a baby girl! Weighing 8lbs 3oz, the little princess was born at 8.34am (local time). William was present for the birth. Kensington Palace has reported on Twitter that the baby and Her Royal Highness are doing well. The family were seen leaving the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital at 6.12pm (local time) with their gorgeous new baby girl.

The family are yet to announce the name of their newborn baby. A big congratulations to Kate, Wills and George!

The adorable new princess looked peaceful wrapped in a warm white blanket.

Prince George joined the family at the hospital at 4.00pm (local time) to meet his little sister before they took her home. He gave the crowd a wave with his dad, the Duke of Cambridge.

The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.
