The mysteries of Broadchurch season two are yet to be revealed, but its star Olivia Colman isn’t holding back when it comes to her own secrets – she’s expecting her third child.
The 41-year-old announced that she and husband Ed Sinclair are expecting a sibling for sons Finn (9) and Hal (7), adding that she is in the early stages with “quite a few months to go”.
It was an unexpected revelation during an interview, as Olivia was forced to explain why she is unable to take part in a big-screen remake of her short film The Karman Line.
“Obviously, the baby is my priority and we’re all very excited. I’m very fortunate that work and family are thriving at the same time.
I feel very, very lucky.” Despite being highly sought after following her Broadchurch success, for which she won a BAFTA award, family comes first for Olivia, who says, “As long as I have Ed and the boys, everything is alright.”
