Lady Gaga’s fleshy cover up
She’s worn her fair share of outlandish outfits but has Lady Gaga finally gone too far? The ‘Alejandro’ singer has graced the cover of the latest Vogue Hommes Japan wearing nothing but pieces of red, raw meat.
While Gaga herself is yet to comment on the cover, animal rights organisation People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has. "Lady Gaga's job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body," says a spokesperson.
Gaga isn’t the first celebrity to come under PETA’s fire for their approach to animals. In 2008, Tyra Banks was chastised for making aspiring models on "America's Next Top Model" wrap themselves in raw meat for a photo shoot. At the time PETA said, "Meat represents bloody violence and suffering, so if that's the look they were going for—they achieved it."

My four-year-old grandson was at the supermarket with his mother when he exclaimed, “You’re buying something, Mummy, auntie is buying something – I want to buy something!” Mum replied, “You have to be big, have a wife, have a job, then you can buy things.” He replied, “I have a wife – Maia,” meaning his four-year-old friend. Mum said, “What about a job?” Master Four replied, “My job is having a wife!”

I was in the car and asking Master Three what he wanted for Christmas. He said he was going to ask Santa for a water pistol. “And Nanny,” he added, “I’m going to ask for some water for our paddling pool.” Now that could be interesting!

Bee gone
Master Three had his first bee sting recently. The incident broke his heart, but after many cuddles he came right. Later he said, “I never want to see another bee again. I don’t like bees any more, I only like flies.”
