Whether it was an extravagant celebration or a low-key, private ceremony, many famous lovebirds tied the knot in their own way in 2015. Take a look back at their gorgeous nuptials here!

Ronan Keating married Storm Uechtritz in a fairytale wedding in Scotland. The bride wore a dress designed by Aussie Steven Khalil, and the newlyweds were serenaded by none other than Ed Sheeran!

Billy Joel wed his fourth wife Alexis Roderick in July. The couple kept their nuptials a secret by leading guests to believe they were going to a Fourth of July party instead of a wedding!

Alan Rickman and his long-time partner Rima Horton finally tied the knot this year after being together for 50 years! The couple kept it low key with a ceremony in New York for just the two of them.

Mary-Kate Olsen married French banker Olivier Sarkozy, her boyfriend of three years, in November in a private ceremony.

Nicky Hilton wed banker James Rothschild in the super luxe Orangery at Kensington Palace in July. The bride wore an ivory and silver Valentino gown, and guests at the glittering event dined on everything from caviar and foie gras to mini pizzas and mac and cheese.

The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder and his girlfriend, Twilight actress Nikki Reed, wed on April 26 in a picturesque ceremony in Santa Monica.

On February 7, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard tied the knot in a super romantic beach-side wedding on the actor’s own private island in the Bahamas.

Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden wed on January 5 at their Beverly Hills mansion, after dating for eight months. The ceremony took place in the couple’s own back yard, and guests included Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are reported to have tied the knot earlier this year, although the intensely private couple have still refused to confirm their nuptials in an official statement. However, Mila did drop a few hints about the wedding during an interview with James Corden!

Kiwi presenter Shannon Ryan’s big day was beautifully bohemian! She wed longtime love Justin Greenwood in sun-drenched Sonoma Valley, California.
